PM Imran’s call for clapping is now trending

Prime Minister Imran Khan’s call for clapping became the top trend on social media on Friday.

Bajao Taliyan (clap, please), the premier asked the audience at the launch of Central Business District in Lahore.

All are sleeping, no one is clapping, he stressed. PM’s call triggered twittering on social media, making it the top trend. 

Shedding light on the project’s importance, Imran Khan said The project will serve as a business hub and it help generate six thousand billion rupees.

in the first phase, it will generate 1,300 billion rupees and the federal government will get two hundred and fifty billion rupees in taxes.

PM Khan stressed that wealth generation projects are important to strengthen the economy enabling it to return the loans.

Imran Khan regretted that the economy was mismanaged in the previous two governments. He said the government inherited a poor economy.

He however expressed satisfaction that the current account surplus remained surplus during the first six months of the current fiscal year.
