Lahore DIG Dr Abid Khan has issued a security alert ahead of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final match that will be played at the Qaddafi international cricket stadium in Lahore Sunday night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Dr Abid Khan, who is also PSL security chief, issuing directives said that security personnel deployed on the protection of the city.
Dr Abid said that security arrangements have been completed and fans, players, match officials will be provided security/.
Lahore Police have deployed 8,000 police officers and personnel along with snipers deployed on the high-rise buildings. Elite, Dolphin and Peru force personnel are deployed.
Lahore police made it clear that fans will only be allowed to enter PSL stadium.
Directives have been issued to fans to bring CNIC, tickets and COVID-19 certificates. Lahore Police chief urged citizens to cooperate with the police at security check posts.
