Unidentified assailants targeted the residence of PPP leader and Faqirabad Town chairman Serai Nisar Hussain Khaskheli late Monday night and set his luxury vehicle on fire and also tried to torch his house in Kot Diji, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to police, in Goth Sarai Piaro Khan area, armed men attacked the house of PPP leader and Faqirabad Town chairman and set on fire his luxury Prado vehicle, model 2014.
Moreover, the unknown attackers also tried to set PPP leader’s house on fire but luckily his guests rushed out of the nearby guestrooms and raised hue and cry; as a result, the assailants escaped from the scene.
The family members remained safe while Faqirabad Town chairman was not present at his house when it was attacked.
PPP leader Nisar Khaskheli appealed the Sindh IGP and other officials concerned that strict action should be taken against the perpetrators.
