A prisoner, convicted in various crimes escaped from the Badin District Jail, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.   

The sources said the prisoner identified as Roop Chand Bhel escaped by jumping one of the walls and deceiving the jail staff.

The jail authorities came to know when they counted the jail inmates early in the morning and found one person missing.  

The missing was occured due to the negligence of the jail administration.

The jail administration is now under scrutiny.

The Jail Superintendent did not provide a clear position regarding the missing prisoner, only stating that efforts to locate him were ongoing.
