Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly on Wednesday constituted a special committee after a Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) MPA took on her own government for failing to protect the children at Peshawar’s Darul Amaan from ill-treatment at the hands of its staff, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
MPA Madiha Nisar during a visit to the Darul Amaan had accused its administration of physically as well as sexually assaulting the children living at the centre.
The MPA had further alleged that not only this but also the items given by donors to the centre were later sold out in the market.
She alleged that all this was being done at the behest of a woman named Yasmin.
