Ayesha Omar has taken to her Instagram handle and posted snaps from the premier night. The pictures have been captured brilliantly showcasing a contemporary Ayesha dressed in a black and white 'sari'.
In the caption of her latest Instagram post, Ayesha has revealed that the ensemble she chose to don for The Untold Story of Javed Iqbal's premier has been designed by a graduate from an acknowledged Pakistani university. Ayesha made an appearance in thesis degree exhibit and fell in love with the attire. The reason Ayesha wore it for the grand night was because she wanted to promote the hidden yet promising new talent of the country.
Here is the caption of Ayesha's latest Instagram update: "This gorgeous sari has been designed by a fresh Indus Valley graduate @fatima_soorat @palfreyandgulaabo for her textile thesis. Blouse is my own though. I went to the thesis degree exhibit and it instantly caught my eye. Fell in love and asked Fatima if I could wear it. The embossed calligraphy on it says “ranj”."
Ayesha further wrote: "I chose to wear it on the premiere of this film because firstly I wanted to promote fresh talent of our country and secondly this word very aptly defines the general mental state of my character, Zahra Nigar, the female police officer leading the investigation of the serial killer “Javed Iqbal." I hope to wear a lot more of her pieces."
In the conclusion of the note, Ayesha stated: "Yesterday I picked up these stunning earrings and ring from @allurebymht , rushed home after 3 interviews, found a black strappy crop top in my closet to match the sari, tied my hair in a bun, retouched my morning show makeup, slathered on some red lippy and was good to go."
