Indian guru of controversy under fire

Indian hardliner Prime Minster Modi’s Rasputin Ramdev has claimed that Pakistan will be divided into four parts, a peace professor posted on Twitter.

Ramdeve, known as the guru of controversy claimed that Sindh, Balochistan and AJK will ‘join India to create Akhand Bharat’, Professor of Peace and Conflict Research Ashok Swain tweeted adding “Why only Pakistan, why not China?” 

Ashok Swain has been a critic of anti-democratic moves and anti-peace steps.

In 2017, he was appointed as the UNESCO Chair of International Water Cooperation and became the first UNESCO Chair of Uppsala University.

Swain received his PhD in 1991 from the School of International Studies of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. Swain has been living in Sweden for the past 32 years.
