The relatives and local leadership, who took the bodies of PTI workers to Islamabad, agreed to go back after successful negotiation with the government, 24NewsHD TV reported late Monday.
Two PTI workers were killed in a violent clash between the police rivals during AJK polling. The relatives and local leadership took the bodies to Islamabad in pursuit of justice.
They placed the bodies at ministerial enclave near the residence of Kashmir Affairs Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to register their protest. PM aide Ali Awan kicked off negotiations with them. On the assurance of providing them with justice, they agreed to call off protest and go back.
