Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday took up disruption of global grain supply chain with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov during a telephone conversation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the phone conversation, both the foreign ministers discussed bilateral matters and growing cooperation in diverse areas. Black Sea Grain Initiative (BSGI) was also featured in their telephonic talk.
Later in a post uploaded on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Bilawal Bhutto said he had a good exchange of views on bilateral and other matters in call with the Russian foreing minister.
He said they also discussed expiry of BSGI and disruption of global supply chains that would put more pressure on developing countries. “I emphasized Pakistan’s engagement with stakeholders and desire to find a solution,” he added.
