The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) has summoned a meeting of the judicial commission on August 2 next to review the appointment of Justice Muhammad Ibrahim Khan as the chief justice of the Peshawar High Court (PHC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Justice Muhammad Ibrahim Khan is currently the acting chief justice of the PHC.
The post of the chief justice had fallen vacant in the PHC after the appointment of Justice Mussarat Hilali to the Supreme Court.
