Bollywood diva Janhvi Kapoor is currently making headlines for her upcoming film 'Ulajh', while promoting the corporate thriller, the actress was asked if she would star in a sequel to her late mother Sridevi, and Anil Kapoor’s 'Mr. India'.

Janhvi Kapoor shared that she doesn’t think 'Mr. India' should be remade. She called the sci-fi film one of the best in Hindi cinema. However, she did mention that she would trust the makers should a sequel film happen.

In Mr. India, Arun, who lives with orphaned kids in a big, old home is threatened by a gangster. He resorts to using his father’s invention - a watch that turns the wearer invisible to fight injustice. The iconic film sees Sridevi play a journalist who rents out a room in Arun’s home.

Janhvi Kapoor reveals details about her action training in Ulajh

Janhvi Kapoor has worked hard to ensure her performance in Uljah is authentic and the effort has also extended to the film's action.

Speaking about the film, Director Sudhanshu Saria says, “We have such action sequences in the film that will make the audience feel that they are present in the room. The stress and the tension in the scenes are very real.”

Revealing details about her action training in Uljah, Janhvi said, “People often misunderstand the role of IFS officers, they think it’s similar to other positions where hard combat training is required. IFS officer training is more focused on diplomacy, maintaining international relations, strategic thinking, and using words.

"Through Ulajh, I gained insight into the skill sets required to be an IFS officer. For my character Suhana in Ulajh, we kept this authenticity intact. While I didn't undergo combat training, Nick Powell ensured that the essential action training went more in the zone and looked authentic for an IFS officer.”

Speaking about Janhvi’s action sequence in the film, action director Nick Powell said, “Janhvi is so feminine, and making her do an action sequence and trying to make her look as someone who is punching people, hurting them, of course, because she is afraid and does not intend to hurt them deliberately was difficult.”

Ulajh, features Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Adil Hussain, and Rajesh Tailang as well. It is produced by Junglee Pictures.

If the trailer is anything to go by, Janhvi's action sequences look intense and real.
