An airhostess of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was caught red-handed smuggling foreign currency out of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Customs officials arrested the airhostess at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore.
Customs DC Raja Bilal said the airhostess was offloaded from a foreign-bound flight on a suspicion. He further said the airhostess was searched and it was found out that she had hidden Saudi Riyals worth Rs140,000 in her socks.
Raja Bilal said after registration of a case the airhostess was handed over to I&P.
