Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has postponed its protest call on Friday which was aimed at demanding the early release of PTI founder Imran Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
PTI spokesman Amir Mughal told media that the court has allowed PTI to hold a protest on Monday.
He further said that PTI would follow the court orders. He said that PTI leaders will hold a press conference in this regard. Earlier, to prevent the protesters, the Islamabad administration closed Islamabad's entrance and exit routes with containers. The red zone was sealed.
D Chowk, Sarina Chowk, Nadra Chowk, Faizabad, and Murree Expressway were also closed with containers.
Moreover, the authorities had already imposed Section-144 in Islamabad.
