Kuwait Airways has grounded seven Pakistani pilots and 56 engineers after the emergence of fake licences issue in Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Saturday.
On the other hand, Oman Air and Vietnam Air also prepared lists of Pakistani pilots, engineers and ground handling staff in their respective airlines.
The pilots’ names on the list were allegedly grounded until a report would not be received from the Pakistani authorities, the TV channel further reported, quoting sources.
The Pakistan Aviation Division already directed three airlines in the country to immediately ground 160 pilots with dubious licences. The orders issued to the chief executive officers of these airlines show that 141 pilots are from the PIA while 10 work for SereneAir and nine for Airblue.
