The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), Hyderabad, in two separate operations, has arrested two militants belonging to Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), who had as per CTD’s account, received training in Afghanistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
CTD officials further said that those arrested were involved in attacks on the personnel of security agencies.
They explained that one of the militants named Usama Wattoo was taken into custody in Matyari.
Hand grenades and explosives were recovered from him, they elaborated.
The second TTP militant named Yasin, the officials added, was arrested from Tando Muhammad Khan.
