Lollywood diva Mahira Khan took to her Instagram handle and shared a five-gallery post containing pictures of her deceased Mamo who passed away two weeks ago.
Mahira paid tribute to her lovely mamu for his endless efforts and the love he showered on her.
Sharing the shots, ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ actress wrote a long heartfelt note in remembrance of her mamu.
Here is what he said:
“My one and my only mamu…
“Mamu… It’s hard to imagine that my handsome larger-than-life Mamu is no more…
“I’ve heard all Mamu’s are special… but it feels like mine was the most special.
“He gave us the most beautiful childhood, he gave his mother unconditional love and respect, he was a father to my khala and my mother’s soul mate. He never complained. He spoke kindly. He was invested in your life and wrote extensively to you when he felt strongly about something.
“He didn’t miss a single ‘Good morning precious’ msg. He gave us laughter and music. He gave me Kishpa and Aly Bhai. But most of all he gave us my angel Mani... his ‘Jannoo’ as he called her.
“It’s been two weeks since you left us… still, this is tough to write, tougher than I imagined…
“We all miss you Mamu… always will...
“I’m sure you’re in the arms of Nana and Nani, with your baby Umer cuddled beside you. Ameen.
“Please do make a prayer for my mamu- Akber Khan - when you read this.
Khan also shared a screenshot of the last conversation she had with her Mamu showcasing his endless love for her as he points out to her one of the most important lessons life teaches us, ‘to cherish all our moments’.
The comment section was filled with condolences for her deceased Mamu and many of the actors and actresses expressed their sorrow for the actress. The Raees superstar included a personal touch by sharing his favorite song, Dil Ka Haal Sune Dilwala, recounting the joyous times they shared singing and dancing to it.
