The rupee continued its upward trend against the dollar on the third day of the business week in the foreign exchange market, with the dollar becoming cheaper in the interbank market.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, currency dealers reported a 10 paisa decrease in the dollar's value, bringing it to Rs278.40 in the interbank market.
Last week, currency markets experienced fluctuations, with the dollar rising by 12 paisa to Rs280.37 in the open market.
However, this week, the dollar has remained stable at Rs278.51 in the interbank market.
