Pakistan Meteorological Department said that temperature in the port city of Karachi has increased as sea breeze has stopped, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The mercury could go up to 40 degree Celsius, the weather office predicted.
On Sunday (today) and on Monday (tomorrow) mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.
However, partly cloudy weather with rain-wind/thunderstorm is likely in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan during evening/night. Hot weather with dust raising /gusty winds are likely in Sindh and South Punjab.
In the past 24 hour weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country.
Saturday's highest temperature’s (°C): Lasbela, Mithi, Chhor 43, Dadu, Mohenjo Daro, Padidan, Shaheed Benazirabad and Sakrand 42.
