A religious scholar has recently appeared on a Ramadan show where he talked about ‘Nikkah’ in dramas.

The clip of him went viral all over social media, and celebrities could not stop reacting to it.

During the candid conversation with the host, when the scholar was questioned about his opinion on marriages in dramas, he replied that if two actors reenact a scene of Nikkah in a drama serial with the presence of two witnesses, then their marriage will commence in reality.

The scholars also stated that if a real-life couple is also playing a reel life couple and they used the divorce scene by using the words ‘talaq’, then there wedding will be over for real.

Therefore, the drama makers should take the necessary measures to avoid such a situation.

Celebrities found themselves unable to resist and began sharing their witty comments on the statement.

Ushna Shah took to her Instagram story and posted:

“Time for an awkward conversation with my husband.”

Umer Alam posted:

“According to this, my three marriages are done, and the fourth will be complete in the next drama serial.”

Danial Afzal Khan sarcastically commented:

“Bring me my wives.”

Ahsan Khan also expressed his shock, while Ghana Ali penned:

“then how many times I gotten married, its not possible.”

Qudisa also posted a story stating that, please, my husband’s come and remind me, as she don’t remember how many times she has done it.

However, netizens are currently engaged in a debate on the matter. Some argue that no Nikah can take place without the actual details and consent of the individuals, while others suggest avoiding public acceptance and shooting the scenes in separate parts to prevent any complications.
