Netizens couldn't hold back and began criticizing the actress for her immodest attire and behavior, expressing their disapproval of her actions and the negative influence she might be setting for others. The backlash centered around the perception that her conduct was inappropriate and disappointing.

Earlier, Mehwish Hayat and emerging star Talha Chahour landed themselves in hot water for flaunting a controversial photoshoot session for one of the established magazine covers.

One of the controversial pictures that has apparently caused public frustration was the black-and-white picture portraying Mehwish decked up in a mini dress, lying fearlessly on a bed while the male star Talha is spotted clad in a shalwar kameez, seated down on earth with an arm on the bed while giving a strong gaze toward the camera.
