A gruesome incident unfolded in the Sohbatpur district of Balochistan, where seven members of the same family were brutally shot dead over a land dispute.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, among the victims were a husband, wife, their four sons, and a daughter, aged between one and fifteen years.

Police sources said armed men stormed the shepherd family's residence in the RD-238 police precinct, opening indiscriminate fire.

The attack left the head of the household, who worked as a shepherd, dead along with his wife and children.

Following the mass killing, the assailants set the family’s hut ablaze before fleeing the scene.

Police sources said the deadly assault stemmed from a long-standing land dispute involving the victims. The police have launched an investigation into the matter and are searching for the culprits behind the brutal killings.
