Hundreds of girl students, taking the secondary school certificate (SSC) examinations, were forced to solve their questions papers while sitting on the floor due to lack of chairs at examination centre, thanks to the mismanagement of the Board of Secondary Education, Karachi.
According to the news broadcasted by 24NewsHD TV channel, Government Murad Memon School in Malir has the seating capacity of around 450 to 500 students.
Nevertheless, the board of secondary education issued roll number slips to as many as 800 girl students with Government Murad Memon School as their examination centre.
The lack of seating capacity in the school forced at least 300 girl students to solve the question papers while sitting on the floor.
The girl students, taking the SSC examinations, complained about the difficulties they were faced with due to lack of basic facilities such as chairs and fans at the examination centre.
