A female attendant of a patient was raped by an employee of Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) in Lahore on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police, the accused took the woman to the second floor on the pretext that he will help her get an early date for her father’s surgery.
The police have registered a case and arrested the accused.
The police have launched an inquiry of getting report of victim’s medical check-up.
2nd-year student gang-raped in Wazirabad
A second-year girl student was subjected to gang-rape by goons in Alipur Chattha area of Wazirabad.
According to victim's father, the student was abducted by the goons from outside the college gate where she had gone to take an exam.
The accused named Amir Hamza and Muqarrab Raza also recorded the videos of the gang-rape and used the clips to blackmail her.
A case against the accused rapists has been registered in the Alipur Chattha Police Station on the complaint of the victim girl's father.
The police said that an investigation was underway and assured that strict action will be taken against the culprits.
