Two alleged dacoits were killed by the firing of a citizen while a passerby also got killed in the fire returned by the dacoits near New Building in Sarjani Sector, 7-A, in Karachi on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Reportedly, an armed citizen allegedly shot fires at alleged dacoits in Sarjani Sector. As a result, two dacoits were killed. The outlaws too retaliated and a passerby citizen was also killed during the shootout and two other people got injured.
The dead were shifted to a hospital for their autopsy.
Funeral prayers of martyred cop held in Okara
Separately, the funeral prayers of a police constable who embraced martyrdom during a police encounter with dacoits in village 24 LL in the limits of Sadr police station Okara were offered.
The funeral prayers of the cop were performed at the Police Lines.
A large number of people including political, social and religious personalities attended his Nimaz-e-Jinaza.
Martyred cop Asif has been survived by two sons and a daughter.
