The allied parties of the Pakistan Democratic Movement have decided not to become part of the Balochistan government, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

PDM Chief and JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman made telephonic contacts on Wednesday with PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and other leaders and discussed issues pertaining to government formation in Balochistan, inflation, and local government polls at length.

Sources said that in his conversation with the PDM leaders, the JUI-F chief decided not to become the part of Balochistan government. The allied parties in the PDM including PNP (Mengal) would sit on opposition benches.

Maulana Fazl consulted Shehbaz Sharif, Mehmood Khan Achakzai, Akhtar Mengal, and leaders of other allied parties on the issue of casting vote in favour of BAP leader Abdul Quddus Bizenjo for his election as chief minister of Balochistan province.

The Maulana suggested boycotting the local government polls. During their telephonic conversation, the PDM leaders were agreed to spur their anti-government campaign.

Bizenjo’s chances to become CM getting brighter

Sources informed 24NewsHD on Wednesday that some progress was witnessed in the process of government formulation in the province. They said that Mr. Bizenjo’s position had strengthened as 17 members of the BAP out of 24 proclaimed their support for Mr. Bizenjo for the office of Balochistan's chief minister.

The Hazara Democratic Party has also announced to back Mr. Bizenjo. The central leadership of Tehreek-i-Insaf has also agreed to support the former speaker.

Yesterday night, Defence Minister Pervaiz Khattak also held a joint press conference along with the BAP leaders of majority group.

While the parliamentary group of the PTI has nominated Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind for the office of the chief minister.

Mr. Rind once again could not convince the central leadership of his party for reposing their confidence in him.
