Six students sustained wounds in a clash between two groups at Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
A heavy contingent of police rushed to the spot.
The police registered a case and started investigation.
The lawmen have been posted at the campus to avert any untoward incident.
