An alarming rise in dengue cases has been witnessed in Rawalpindi over the last 24 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday.
According to the latest figures released by the Punjab Health Department, 111 new cases were reported from Rawalpindi during this period.
Currently, a total of 260 dengue patients are receiving treatment in various hospitals across the Rawalpindi district.
Most of the fresh cases have been reported from Potohar Town, which remains a hotspot for the outbreak.
With the addition of new cases, the total number of registered dengue patients in Rawalpindi has reached 4,191.
