The District and Sessions Court Islamabad Saturday acquitted PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat in two cases related to alleged violations of Section 144, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Senior Civil Judge Mohammad Abbas Shah presided over the hearings.
The cases had been registered at the Kohsar Police Station against Marwat and several other individuals under section 144.
During the proceedings, Marwat appeared in the court while the court reviewed the evidence and arguments presented, leading to Marwat's acquittal.
His legal team successfully argued that the allegations against him were unfounded and that he had not engaged in any activities that breached Section 144 regulations.
As for the other accused individuals, the court had set the next hearing date for November 11, at which time they are expected to appear and address the allegations.
