The Pakistani rupee made it 16th in a row as it again gained value against the US dollar in the interbank market on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
This is the rupee’s 16th consecutive win against the US dollar in the interbank market.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the local currency went up by Rs1.05 against the greenback and ended the day at Rs288.75.

On Tuesday, the Pakistani rupee had gained by 0.37% in the interbank market. At close, the rupee had settled at Rs289.80 after an increase of Rs1.06.

The rupee has maintained its upward trajectory in recent days and recovered over 6% since hitting a record low of Rs307.1 against the US dollar in the interbank market on September 5.
