A tense confrontation unfolded between Member of National Assembly (MNA) Asif Khan and the Director General (DG) of Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) during an anti-encroachment operation on Ring Road, Peshawar.
According to a report by 24NewsHD TV on Friday, the argument began when MNA Asif Khan approached the DG to discuss the ongoing operation.
MNA Asif Khan, expressing his frustration, said, “You will listen to me. I’ve come to speak to you.” The DG responded by saying, “Should I listen to every person who walks off the road? There is a procedure.”
The situation escalated when Asif Khan aggressively replied, “I am not your servant that you won’t listen to me!” To which the DG countered, “Am I your servant?”
Asif Khan, clearly angered, stated, “Yes, you’re paid from my taxes, so you will listen to me.” The DG calmly replied, “I am a servant of the state.”
