In a significant development in the investigation into the University of Karachi (KU) suicide blast, the law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) have succeeded in tracing the home of the female suicide bomber, Shari Baloch, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

The personnel of Police and Rangers raided her rented flat in Scheme 33 of Karachi and recovered laptops and some important documents from there.

Quoting its sources, the TV channel reported that the suicide bomber had been living in the flat for the past three years.

They further told 24News TV channel that the flat had been sealed since the day of the blast.

During the search of Shari’s home, the LEAs’ personnel also stumbled upon a car, bearing official number plate, which led them to believe that she used to travel in it.

Shari had six brothers and sisters, and she was the seventh. One of her sisters is a PhD doctor.

The personnel, after completing their search, sealed the home and left.

However, the investigators are trying to get to the owner of the flat.
