PM Shehbaz, ministers arrive in Madinah on 3-day KSA visit

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Thursday arrived in Madinah on a three-day high-level official visit to the kingdom at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Governor Madinah Faisal bin Salman Al Saud, accompanied by senior Saudi officials, who received PM Shehbaz at the airport.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by Federal Ministers Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Miftah Ismail, Nawabzada Shah Zain Bugti, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Mohsin Dawar and Maulana Tahir Ashrafi.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will meet with Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and other relevant officials to enhance economic and trade ties and promote investment, as well as create more employment opportunities for Pakistani workers in Saudi Arabia. 

In addition, the Prime Minister will visit the Holy Shrine of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and will receive the blessings of Umrah.

The two friendly countries will also discuss issues of mutual interest, especially various regional and international issues.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are bound by brotherhood based on trust and mutual understanding, close cooperation and a long tradition of mutual cooperation.

It is important to note that this is the first visit of PM Shehbaz abroad since becoming the 23rd premier of the country.
