A matric student attempted suicide within the premises of the Lahore Board office due to continuous failure in exams but failed in his attempt, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
As per details, the student identified as Shahid Shah attempted suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of the Lahore Board's building but the nearby people thwarted his attempt by holding him.
According to the spokesperson of the board office, the student warned the board administration to declare him pass in the exams otherwise he would commit suicide.
The candidate had been failing for many years. He failed in the Mathematics and English exams in grades 9th and 10th whereas he did not pass the English supplementary exam in 2019.
He also failed a Mathematics paper in 2020 and did not clear it in supplementary exams.
So, after being failed repeatedly he tried to commit suicide but yet failed again.
