Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers violated the by-election code of conduct in the Sheikhupura by-election by aerial firing in the party rally.
According to the 24news HD TV channel, during the PTI public meeting in PP-139 Chak Rajpootan, the aerial firing spread panic among the gathering despite the presence of police there.
Later, under the direction of the election commission, the DPO Sheikhupura took strict actions and arrested three culprits involved in the aerial firing. Police have also recovered the weapons from the accused persons.
The DPO Sheikhupura said that nobody is allowed to violate the laws.
