PTI leading in LG by-elections on 65 vacant seats in 21 districts of KPK

The announcement of unofficial results of the local bodies’ by-elections on 65 vacant seats in 21 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have started, till the filling of report results of 6 constituencies received, reported 24NewsHD TV on Sunday.

According to the details, the by-elections for various vacant seats of 65 village and neighborhood councils in 21 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa continued from 8 am to 5 pm and the results of which continue to come.

According to unofficial and non-final results, Rahim Shah of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf got 851 votes, Mukhtiar Ali of JUI came second with 725 votes, and Abbas Khan of PML-N came third with 229 votes.

In Swat, PTI candidate won the seat of Kisan Councilor in NC Brikot East, Amjad Khan of Tehreek-e-Insaf got 522 votes, his opponent Akbar Ali of ANP got 331 votes.

On the Youth Councilor’s seat in Bajaur independent candidate Islamuddin won the seat by getting 549 votes, while Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Imad came second with 395 votes.

According to the unofficial results, the independent candidate won the seat of Youth Councilor in Tehsil Kabal, independent candidate Shahid Iqbal got 974 votes, Asif Khan of Tehreek-e-Insaf is second with 835 votes.

The candidate of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam F has won the seat of youth counselor from village council Dogulgi Baha in Swat, JUI-F Qari Abdul Rahman has secured 679 votes while Muhammad Ismail of Tehreek-e-Insaf remained second with 418 votes.

In Khyber, independent candidate Zalekha Bibi was declared successful by getting 656 votes, her opponent Naheeda Bibi of Tehreek-e-Insaf got 434 votes.
