Pakistan Football Federation's (PFF) Normalization Committee has banned 22 officials including its former president Ashfaq Hussain for life on violation of discipline, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The PFF Disciplinary Committee banned them on the allegations of occupying Football House and creating a parallel organization.
Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah, Zahir Shah, Aamir Dogar and Sardar Naveed Haider will be banned from participating in any football activities.
Sharafat Hussain Bukhari, Naveed Akram, Rahim Baloch, Dost Muhammad Khan, Muhammad Nauman, Rana Ashraf, Saeed Rasool and Azizullah were also banned.
Azizullah, Faqir Muhammad, Farzana Rauf, Muhammad Saleem, Fanwat Aziz and Siddique Sheikh were also banned for life.
The Disciplinary Committee ordered them to return all PFF assets, including official vehicles, within seven days and criminal cases will be filed against them if they do not follow the decision.
All the persons violated Article 70 of PFF Constitution, Disciplinary Committee said.
Committee further said formation of parallel organization is against PFF rules and regulations.
The Disciplinary Committee also took action against those involved in the attack on PFF House on March 27, 2021 and that incident led to the suspension of Pakistan's football at the international level.
As a result of the attack, PFF property was illegally occupied.
The PFF instructs all its concerned units and departments to strictly implement the decision of the Disciplinary Committee.
Strict action will be taken against any person concerned trying to establish contact with these prohibited persons, the committee warned.
The affected persons have the right to appeal against the decision within 15 days.
