Former president Asif Ali Zardari took a swipe at the government for what he called leaving the people in the lurch, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
Imran Khan's puppet government does not believe in people's rule, he said while addressing a rally on 14th death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto.
"Your fate and those of the poor will change," he said, adding that the PPP is trying its best to fulfil the promises made to Benazir Bhutto and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
The former president Asif Ali Zardari has said that it is not the fate of the people of Pakistan to remain poor forever. Pakistan is a rich country and Bilawal Bhutto will bring about a change, he averred.
The PPP has always served the people, its thinking and manifesto is to serve the people.
The former president said that the time is coming when the fate of the people will change, the fate of the people of Pakistan will be changed by Bilawal Bhutto.
In his message on the day of martyrdom of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed, Asif Ali Zardari said that the country is dearer than his life, “we will not compromise on its freedom, dignity, self-respect and honor.
We will continue struggle to save the people from economic hardships by eradicating poverty and unemployment from the country.
