Fazl’s concerns about Madrasah Bill 'will be addressed'

A JUI Sindh chapter delegation led by Maulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro called on President Asif Zardari and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto at Naudero House Larkana, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

JUI Secretary General Sindh Rashid Mahmood Soomro discussed Madrasah Registration Bill, the law and order situation and the overall political situation with President Zardari and PPP Chairman. PPP Women Wing president Faryal Talpur was also present on the occasion. 

During the meeting, President Zardari and Bilawal assured the delegation that the concerns of Maulana Fazlur Rehman about Madrasah Registration Bill 2024 will be addressed and the issue will be resolved soon. 

During the meeting, Maulana Rashid Soomro also expressed concerns over the worst law and order situation in the province. He demanded of PPP leadership to protect the lives, properties and honours of the people in the province.

Bilawal Bhutto on the occasion directed Sindh government to take all possible steps to restore peace in the province. 

During the meeting, Rashid Soomro appreciated the cooperation of Sindh government and the role of the Sindh police in arresting the killers of his martyred father. On this occasion, Maulana Nasir Mehmood Soomro also invited the President Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Faryal Talpar to attend the walima of their younger brother Dr Shafiqur Rehman Soomro. 

Members of Sindh Assembly Jameel Ahmad Soomro, Sohail Anwar Sial, Maulana Tahir Mahmood Soomro, Maulana Tariq Mahmood Soomro, Attaur Rehman Soomro and Dr Shafiqur Rahman Soomro were also present in the meeting.
