Due to negligence and inefficiency of district administration, second case of poliovirus was reported from Tangwani area of Kashmore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Sources said that the latest case was detected in Reshman Bakhrani who is a resident of village Lal Mohammad Bakhrani.
Soon after receiving the report, Deputy Commissioner Kashmore Amir Afzal Awaisi reached the residence of victim’s girl.
Later the Deputy Commissioner summoned an emergency meeting to review health situation in the area.
Sources further revealed that blood samples of the girl patient were sent to National Institute of Health (NIH) Islamabad for verification.
