Lahore Qalandars beat Karachi Kings in PSL thriller

Lahore Qalandars defeated Karachi Kings by 6 wickets in the 11th match of sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at National Cricket Stadium in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Lahore Qalandars have won the toss and decided to field first. Qalandars restricted Kings to 186-9 thanks to fiery spells of Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf. 

Qalandars chased the target of 187 runs in the final over with six wickets and four balls to spare. Opener Fakhar Zaman scored 84 runs. Ben Dunk made 57 runs while David Weise hit 31 runs on just 9 balls and played the viral role in his team’s victory. 

Earlier batting first, Kings’ Sharjeel scored 64 runs including 6 sixes and five fours. Muhammad Nabi also batted beautifully and scored 54 runs. Denial Christian made 27 runs. 

Qalandars’ Shaheen Shah Afridi took three wickets and conceded only 27 runs in four overs. Haris Rauf and Daniyal also took one wicket each.
