The Pakistan Cricket Board (PBC) has given one-year contracts to young players from across the country, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
Under the project, 100 young players between the ages of 13 and 19 have been awarded contracts. All the players were specially invited to watch the PSL final in Lahore. Apart from tapping the talents of these players, the Pakistan Cricket Board will also give them scholarships.
All players will be given a monthly stipend of Rs 30,000 and the contract recipients include 45 under-19, 25 under-16, and 15 under-13 players. Ten players have been awarded contracts on the basis of special talent while five players have been given special contracts for the promotion and acceptance of cricket in Balochistan
