Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz's (PML-N) parliamentary committee endorsed the nominations of Mian Nawaz Sharif's younger brother Shehbaz Sharif for premiership and senior member Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for the speakership in the National Assembly.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the PML-N leadership finalized these nominations for key parliamentary roles in the party's parliamentary meeting with consensus on Wednesday.
The channel reported that after the meeting, PML-N leader Atta Ullah Tarar told the media that the names of Shehbaz Sharif for the next Prime Minister and Ayaz Sadiq for the Speaker slot has been finalized.
Tarar said that the parliamentary committee meeting concluded with the decision of the party's parliamentary lineup as per the PML-N supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif's nominations.
After the PML-N parliamentary meeting, all the top leadership inlcuding Mian Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, Ishaq Dar, and Hamza Shahbaz departed from the venue.
