Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has decided to operate direct flights to Australia, Maldives and Hong Kong.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, PIA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Air Marshal (Retired) Arshad Malik has said they have intensified work on planning direct flights from Australia, Maldives, Hong Kong to Pakistan
The PIA chief also said that they are making a plan to resume direct air operations to Istanbul and Bangkok.
Arshad Malik said talks are underway with the European, British and American Civil Aviation Authority to resume direct flights to the UK, US and European countries.
He also said that International Air Transport Association (IATA) has called for an audit to operate flights to European countries, and flights will be restored as soon as the audit is cleared.
