Senior politician Nafees Siddiqui passed away due to kidney disease in Karachi , reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday. 


Serving as an advisor in the Sindh cabinet during the tenure of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, Siddiqui contributed significantly to public service.


The funeral prayer of Siddiqui is scheduled for tomorrow (Sunday) in Karachi, providing an opportunity for family, friends, and colleagues to pay their respects.


Ramzan Chhipa, a prominent social worker, conveyed heartfelt condolences for Siddiqui’s passing. He expressed, “May Allah elevate his rank in Jannah and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude.”

Meanwhile,  Renowned senior journalist Nadeem Shah Adil has passed away in Karachi after battling a prolonged illness, marking the end of a career spanning over 45 years in journalism.


 



Born on April 23, 1950, in Karachi's Liyari area, Adil's contributions to journalism have left an indelible mark on the field.


Nadeem Shah Adil commenced his journalistic journey in Karachi's Liyari area and remained associated with several prominent media organizations throughout his career.


His commitment to journalism led him to cover diverse social issues, and he authored notable works, including the book "Balochistan Ka Muqadma" and the social commentary "Liyari Ki Kahani."


In addition to his literary contributions, Nadeem Shah Adil also made significant contributions to the world of stage and film as an actor and scriptwriter. His multifaceted talents resonated with audiences across various mediums, reflecting his versatile persona beyond the realm of journalism.
