The Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) has announced comprehensive preparations for the Hajj operation 2025, issuing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for employees participating in the sacred pilgrimage.
The authority has outlined eligibility criteria, application processes, and key dates to ensure a smooth and organized operation.
According to the newly issued guidelines, employees from SG Group 1 to 11 are eligible to apply for Hajj duty. However, applicants must meet specific requirements, including a minimum service period of five years and a clean bill of health, confirming they are medically fit for the demanding responsibilities of the Hajj operation.
The selection process for employees performing the sacred duty will take place at the PAA headquarters on February 4, 2025. Employees interested in participating must submit their applications through their respective department directors, airport managers, or branch offices.
The PAA has also clarified that employees assigned to Hajj duty by the authority will not be permitted to perform the Hajj pilgrimage themselves. Additionally, employees currently involved in any ongoing inquiries or disciplinary proceedings will be ineligible to apply for Hajj duty.
