Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb on Tuesday said that Pakistan’s economy is heading in the right direction, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing the participants at a function in Islamabad, Aurangzeb said that investors’ confidence will get a boost after the interest rate was further slashed.
The finance minister said the government has already adopted rightsizing policy to reduce expenditure of its departments.
Aurangzeb said that Pakistan’s economy is on sound ground as compared to the the previous year.
The finance minister informed the gathering that the government had already started preparation for federal budget 2025-26.
Mohammad Aurangzeb said that due to effective measures we are optimistic to achieve revenue generation targets.
He said due to effective economic policies of the current government reasonable increased being witnessed in foreign remittances.
