The K-Electric staff found an assault rifle hidden in an electric pole in Karachi, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.
The staff recovered the Kalashnikov (AK-47) when they were busy cutting the pole at a ground in Landhi area of the provincial capital.
The K-electric authorities informed the police that reached the site and took the weapon in custody. The lawmen say they have launched an investigation.
