A private school in Lahore, Ladybird School, situated in the constituency of Punjab Commerce Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal, published the wrong date of birth of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, in a sixth-grade textbook, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Senior TV anchorperson Hamid Mir tweeted, “This is the young student of Ladybird School Multan Road, whose father has pointed out the wrong date of birth of Quaid-e-Azam in his textbook. This school is in the constituency of Provincial Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal in Lahore. The school curriculum is approved by the Department of Education.”

As per the pictures shared by the journalist, the Ladybird school grade sixth textbook ‘Sarmaya-e-Urdu’ has written date of birth of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah as ‘25 December 1976’ instead of ‘25 December 1876’.

He questioned who is responsible for such a big and terrible mistake, Education Ministry, school or book publisher.
