As pressure mounts on the PTI leaders to dissociate themselves from the party following incidents of violence on May 9, more and more of them are quitting the party, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The latest to quit the party is former federal minister Nazar Muhammad Gondal who also condemned the incidents of violence on May 9.
Hundreds of people took to streets in several cities of the country to protest the arrest of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan on May 9.
They ransacked and burnt government and military installations to vent their anger.
PTI leader from Arifwala quits party
PTI leader and former ticket-holder from Arifwala Amir Hamza Khan Rath has said goodye to the party.
Amir Hamza was PTI candidate from PP-194.
He made the announcement at a news conference in Arifwala.
He said the May 9 tragedy was intolerabld. Decision to join the new party will be made after consultations with friends, he added.
