Amid loadshedding and heatstroke, 14 people including 4 women died in Karachi’s Korangi area during the last three days and the victim families have blamed K-Electric for their relatives' deaths, reported 24NewsHDTV channel.
Talking to the media, the residents of the area said that all these deaths occurred due to prolonged loadshedding and heatstroke waves in the city.
The residents claimed that there was no power theft in the areas but still, more than 12 hours loadshedding was being made by K-Electric which was creating troubles for patients and senior citizens of the area.
The victim families have urged the Sindh government to take notice of the deaths, provide justice to the victim families and take action against K-Electric over its negligence.
